I am leaving for Paris soon so I am collecting as much film as possible to bring with me. Lately I have been photographing with my Nikon D40 digital, but nothing extraordinary. So in the next few weeks there will be many paris photos.

Astrix Gallery Show

The Astrix Gallery show, What a Relief!, had a very good turn out. I was pleases with the feedback as well as the variety of different work from all of the artists. Local Milwaukee artist Colin Matthes held the show in his gallery. http://www.colinmatthes.com/ He is an amazing printmaker and has strong messages in his body of work. This is my first show that involved an installation, which I was pleased with the outcome. Doing this project has made me want to continue in this direction with experimenting in printmaking and photography.

MIAD's relief printmaking class is holding a show at Astrix Gallery in the 5th Ward. This is the first gallery that I am having an installation of sorts and not just my photography so I am quite excited about the show.
